Simul

Simul is a bench designed in sheet metal with the intent of welcoming users in a combined layout space being installed in groups of five to six bringing a sense of community back to Blue River Park; designed to surround play structures, fields, and courts where families can watch their kids play. Simul is designed with intent of ease in fabrication finished with a powder coated stainless steel body featuring a light green painted steel and cement inner structural frame. Welding the structure together allows for minimal hardware and for the design to have an organic flowing form with smooth edges. It features large holes on its bottom half welcoming plant growth to eventually take over and allow the bench to blend in with its surroundings.
